Historical Landmarks Livingston County

If you've been exploring homes in Livingston County, you may be interested to know that the area has a long and exciting history. When our real estate agents show new homeowners around the area, they love pointing out some of our most famous historical landmarks.

Here are a few of our favorites.

  1. Frank J. Hecox House
Also known as "The House of the Seven Gables," the Frank J. Hecox House is a single-family farmhouse located on 76-acres. It was constructed in 1887 and transferred ownership several times before being purchased and restored by the current owners. The Second-Empire-style home with a pressed-tin-shingle mansard roof is a popular example of historical architecture.
