Brighton Charities

Our REALTORS® invite you to spread kindness to those in need throughout the Brighton area by participating in Giving Tuesday. On December 3rd, we encourage you to take a moment of your time to support one of the local charities that devote their compassion and effort to improving the community. Any donation, no matter how large or small, to the following five charitable organizations, will dramatically improve the livelihood of the amazing men, women, and children we share our community with.

  1. Reaching Higher — 508 East Grand River Ste. 300 B., Brighton, MI 48116
Reaching Higher aims to help the young people of Brighton live happier and healthier lives by reaching their full potential through leadership programs. Transitions from childhood through adolescence are often difficult for many young kids, especially if they lack emotional support at home. Reaching Higher uses an evidence-based curriculum to help these boys and girls develop life skills that will help them grow into the best versions of themselves.

New to Brighton

Moving to a new town can be exciting, but also stressful. Our real estate agents strive to help clients find the right homes for them, but even the best Brighton homes for sale come with an adjustment period. That's only natural!

When you move to a new place, you have to learn routines all over again. It's easy to feel like you've been thrown off your rhythm. Give it a little time, however, and you'll be "street smart" enough to appreciate your new surroundings.

Let's look at some ways you can make a new town feel like home:

  1. Start Meeting New People
Even if you're happy with your move, leaving friends behind can be a drag. Get off to a fresh start by introducing yourself to your neighbors and others you run into. Busy adults can find it hard to make friends, so consider joining some clubs or community organizations.
