Livingston County Bike Trails
Pump up your tires and strap on your helmet — May is National Bike Month! Cyclists throughout Michigan will celebrate National Bike to Work Week during May 13-19 and National Bike to Work Day on Friday, May 17!  Here are six great biking trails in Livingston county you should check out!

  1. Brighton Mountain Bike Trailhead – Brighton Recreation Area near the Bishop Lake Complex, 7050 Bishop Lake Rd., Brighton, MI 48116
    Distance: 15-17 Miles
    Route: Two trails – Murray Lake Trail and Torn Shirt Trail


    The Brighton Recreation Area is just across the street from many Hamburg Township homes for sale and offers a scenic ride for nature lovers. The park has two riding trails: The Murray Lake Trail is 7-9 miles long and is a moderate trail to tackle. The Torn Shirt Trail is just over 8 miles long and will challenge bikers with rugged descents and sharp climbs.
