The three-day Kensington Metropark Art Fair takes place May 23-26 along the shoreline of Kent Lake and showcases the area's natural beauty and the works of 100 artists. Memorial Day Parades

The southeast area of Michigan hosts several Memorial Day parades, each of which brings the community together while paying tribute to those who have served our country. The processions will take place in Brighton, Howell, Pinckney, and Hartland with marching bands, veterans groups, local organizations, and members of the community. Plenty of spectators line the parade route, waving flags, and afterward, many head to local shops and restaurants to explore the area.
