Parshallville Cider Mill has been in operation for more than 135 years, producing cider, spiced donuts, apple pies, and caramel apples that attract visitors from across Michigan. In addition to all of the delicious items to taste, Parshallville Cider Mill offers tours of its rustic facilities, where you can discover the historic processes they use to create fresh-pressed apple cider. Visit the farm store on weekends from Labor Day through mid-November, where you can shop for a variety of made-in-Michigan products in addition to items from the mill.

    Whether you're in the mood for a day of apple picking yourself or you're stopping by to pick up freshly harvested apples in a wide range of varieties, Markillie Orchard has you covered. They've got Williams' Pride, Zestar, Gala, Fuji, Red Delicious, Honey Delicious, and Cortland apples, to name just a few. Each variety is ideal for picking at different times throughout the fall, so visit often to make sure you get your favorite varieties.

    If you visit the Howell Farmers Market during the summer, you might already be familiar with the delicious apple products from Grainger's Orchard & Cider Mill. Fall is the perfect time to make a trip to the orchard yourself and try some of the best apple cider in Livingston County. Their farm shop has plenty of other fall-themed treats, along with an extensive selection of their Shiny Apple Wines, produced in Howell.
