Get to Know Mount Brighton
Mount Brighton has a base elevation of 1,100 feet with a peak elevation of 1,330 feet. The mountain has 130 acres of skiable terrain, with 5 trail lifts, 7 surface lifts, and 100 percent snowmaking coverage. There are 24 trails here, split fairly evenly between beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. There are also 2 terrain parks where you can polish your tricks and express your creativity.
A Beginner-Friendly Mountain
Mount Brighton may have fewer steep, vertical drops than ski resorts located on larger mountains, but that's actually part of what makes this resort so popular with families. It's the perfect place to learn to ski or ride, with about 70 percent of the mountain split between beginner and intermediate terrain. Experienced skiers and riders will still find multiple black diamond and double-black diamond trails, which tend to be located at the top of the highest lifts.
A Variety of Lessons to Learn and Hone Your Skills
First time on a snowboard or pair of skis? Mount Brighton offers a variety of different options for lessons that will have you carving down the slopes in no time. Group lessons are available for kids and adults everyday that the resort is open. You can also schedule a private lesson for 1 to 6 people, with 1, 2, and 3-hour lessons available. Private lessons are available for all experience levels, whether you're new to snow sports or you're an experienced skier/rider looking to develop more advanced skills.
Interested in ski or snowboard racing? Mount Brighton offers an excellent selection of racing programs for all ages, with training available in all Alpine disciplines. They also offer an Adult Racing League, perfect for putting all of that practice to work in a fun, competitive setting.
Fun Events All Winter Long
In addition to all of the fun that you can enjoy on the slopes at Mount Brighton anytime, there's also a busy schedule of special events here throughout the winter. Popular repeating events include Sunday S'mores every Sunday throughout the winter, as well as College Nights with discounts for college students every Friday.
