The median listing price in October 2023 was $462,000, a substantial increase over both the previous month and the previous year. Compare the October 2023 data with a median listing price of $447,000 in September 2023, and the median listing price of $424,000 in October 2022.

  • Average Days on Market Before Sale
    Next up, is a positive trend for sellers. The average days listings spent on the market before sale was trending upward recently, but has shown a decrease in the latest data. Homes spent an average of 27 days on the market before being sold in October 2023, which marks a 6 percent increase compared to the previous year. In October 2022, homes spent an average of 29 days on the market before being sold. A decrease in days spent on the market before sale can be a positive sign regarding local inventory turnover in Livingston County.

  • Median Sales Price
    The median sales price in Livingston County has fluctuated in recent months, a trend that continued in the most recent data. In October 2023, the median sales price in Livingston County was $360,000, a decrease compared to the September 2023 median sales price of $369,000. However, the most recent median sales price also marks an increase compared to October 2022, when the median sales price checked in at $350,000.
