Fall is a great time to have fun around Livingston County, and our real estate agents have all the information you need to get the best start. There's always something to do in Livingston County, but fall is a time when the social calendar comes alive with all kinds of fun for the whole family.

Let's take a closer look at some of your many opportunities for fall events around Livingston County:

  • Parshallville Cider Mill – 8507 Parshallville Road, Fenton, MI 48430
The historic Tom Walker Grist Mill, now known as the Parshallville Cider Mill, was originally built in 1869 and is more than 130 years old. Every season, it offers fresh cider, fall-themed donuts, caramel apples, and lovely pies running the gamut of fall flavors. The many different apple varieties are ideal for baking or eating fresh after you pick them. Guided tours are available throughout the week, and the gift shop offers unique keepsakes.

  • Spicer Orchards and Carriage House – 10411 Clyde Road, Fenton, MI 48430
Another example of a great "you pick" farm near Fenton, you will find that Spicer Orchards and Carriage House distinguishes itself in a number of ways. In addition to offering cider, pies, and more, you'll get a glimpse into early pioneer life with preserved buildings and equipment and a daytime corn maze. Spicer offers a selection of fine wine in its dedicated tasting room. Picking is done in groups courtesy of the covered wagons.

  • Kensington Metropark – 4570 Huron River Parkway, Milford, MI 48380
You'll have the opportunity to get lost in a wonderland of natural splendor thanks to Kensington Metropark. Boasting nearly 4,500 scenic acres, there's something to enjoy for everyone. With wooded, hilly terrain sprawling around popular Kent Lake, you'll love the swimming, picnicking, canoeing, and lake excursions on the Island Queen and the two 240-foot water slides for the kids.

  • Mayhew's Tree Farm and Nursery – 763 Fowlerville Road, Fowlerville, MI 48836
Mayhew's Tree Farm and Nursery is the perfect combination of a chance to see fall foliage while also ushering in the spooky season. The whole family can enjoy the classic hay ride through a number of Halloween-themed destinations like Sleepy Hollow and Tombstone. The ride ends at the "U-Pick" pumpkin patch so you can discover your own favorite pumpkin for carving.

  • The Legend of Sleepy Howell – See Website for Location Information in Howell, MI
The Legend of Sleepy Howell is a Halloween classic that comes back every year, just like the Headless Horseman, whose legend inspired it all. It's Livingston County's largest outdoor trick-or-treating event. Halloween and fall-themed activities, including a costume contest, happen on Saturday, October 28.
