Median Listing Price
With somewhat lower inventory than one year ago, the median listing price has risen over that same time period. The median listing price for June 2023 was $455,000, compared to $449,000 in May 2023 and $434,000 in June 2022. So while the median listing price has varied over the last 12 months, it has still remained relatively close to the $450,000 range.
Average Days on the Market Before Being Sold
The average number of days properties in Livingston County spent on the market before being sold has been trending upward over the last year, and that trend continued in June 2023, when properties spent an average of 21 days on the market before being sold. That marks a 50 percent increase compared to June 2022, when properties spend an average of 14 days on the market before being sold.
Median Sales Price
Just like with the median listing price, the median sales price in Livingston County has also been trending upward over the last year. The median sales price in June 2023 checked in at $391,000. Compare that to the median sales price of $372,000 in May 2023 and the median sales price of $358,000 in June 2022.
Number of Units Sold
The number of units sold in Livingston County saw a moderate decrease compared to the previous year and a slight decrease compared to the previous month. There were a total of 196 properties sold in Livingston County during June 2023, compared to 208 properties sold in May 2023 and 269 properties sold in June 2022. Overall, that's a 27 percent decrease in properties sold compared to the previous year and a 5 percent decrease in properties sold compared to the previous month.
