At one time, the site housed the local blacksmith before becoming the Marine Bar. Add variety with a burger patty made from salmon, black beans, turkey, buffalo, elk, boar, or venison. The beer menu includes a wide variety of local craft brews along with brands from around the country and the world. Hours are 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. - 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. Sunday.

Downtown Brighton has gone to the dogs at Lu & Carl's Grill. This charming restaurant with a pet-friendly patio is a tribute to our canine friends, with walls full of dog pictures and sayings like, "Be the person your dog thinks you are." Not surprisingly, in addition to a nice selection of burgers, the menu features a number of gourmet hot dogs. With their make-your-own Bloody Mary bar, Lu & Carl's will become your new favorite brunch spot. Hours are 11 a.m. - midnight daily except for Friday and Saturday, when closing time is 2 a.m.

While attending Georgia State University, Hana Filipovic nurtured a dream of bringing Southern culture and cuisine to Brighton. In partnership with her two siblings, Hana fulfilled her goal by opening Bourbons. Choose from two equally delicious half-pound USDA prime beef burgers on the menu. The Bourbon St. burger is served in traditional Southern style with pimento cheese and Vidalia onion, while the upscale Lafayette burger is topped with Gruyère cheese, sauteed mushrooms, and truffle aioli. Bourbons is open 11 a.m. - 10 p.m.Tuesday through Thursday, 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Sunday.

Wood accents and a copper-top bar presided over by local favorite Mike the Horse create an inviting interior at Stillwater Grill. Their classic burger is served on a brioche bun with lettuce, tomato, and onion, with an optional addition of cheese. The dish is accompanied by regular or sweet potato fries, while other sides include Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, rice pilaf, and baked potato. Hours are 4 p.m. - 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 2 p.m. - 9 p.m. Sunday.
