- Torn Shirt Mountain Biking Trail – 6360 Chilson Rd., Howell, MI 48843
Also located within the Brighton Recreation Area, the Torn Shirt Mountain Biking Trail offers a more challenging ride suitable for advanced mountain bike riders. It's a one-way, 6-mile trail that will take you over the hills and through the forest, with nature all around you. The challenge of this trail comes from the varying terrain and the more than 1,100 feet of uphill riding that you'll accomplish along the way.

For a trail closer to Milford, try a visit to Kensington Metropark. This is another of Livingston County's largest parks, checking in at over 4,500 acres.
