While that is a significant drop year-over-year, the rest of the trends in this post indicate a strong year-over-year increase in the number of homes that are being sold. The increase in listings compared to April is also a positive sign. 

  • Median Listing Price in Livingston County
    The median listing price for Livingston County homes in May 2021 was $395k, which represents a slight increase over April when the median listing price was $392k. It's also a significant year-over-year increase compared to May 2020, when the median listing price was 359k. An increase in median listing price is a sign that sellers are confident in the level of demand for Livingston County homes.

  • Median Sale Price for Livingston County Real Estate
    Like median listing prices, the median sale price for Livingston County homes has also been increasing steadily. The median sale price in May 2021 was $334k, an increase over the April 2021 median sale price of $327k.     May 2021 saw 251 units sold in Livingston County, a massive 112 percent increase over May 2020 when 118 units were sold. It's also a 7 percent increase over April 2021, when 233 units were sold.
