Livingston County January Events

Even though the holiday season has come to a close, there's still plenty of fun to be had throughout January. Our real estate agents encourage you to come out to these great winter events in Livingston County over the first few weeks of the year.

  1. Livingston County Polar Plunge — Brighton High School 7878 Brighton Rd., Brighton, MI 48116 | Jan 25, 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM
    Are you ready to take the Polar Plunge? Grab your favorite swimsuit and get ready to dive into a chilling pool of water for a great cause. Benefiting the Special Olympics Michigan, the Livingston County Polar Plunge dares you to jump into the Brighton High School pool in the middle of January while raising money for charity. While we don't suggest visiting Brighton homes for sale soaking wet, we do encourage you to stop by, watch and donate to this wonderful winter event.

  2. Winter Market —Howell Opera House 123 W. Grand River, Howell, MI 48843 | Jan 19, 10 AM – 2 PM
    The Winter Market invites you inside the Howell Opera House for an afternoon of local shopping. Gather fresh foods from local producers and browse art created by our talented Howell artists. Pick out a few new creations to display in one of our Howell homes for sale once you find the one that's perfect for your family!

  3. Peabody Ice Fest — Peabody Ice Climbing 12326 Foley Rd., Fenton, MI 48430 | Jan 25, 10 AM – 11 PM
    The Peabody Ice Fest is certainly one of the coolest events happening around Brighton each year. This time, the Peabody Ice Climbing center is hosting Ice Fest 2020 with a superhero theme.     Head over to Huron Meadows Metro Park for the Frosty Freestyle and Krazy Klassic Cross County Fun Ski Races! Participants will zip by you faster than you can say the event's name! Even if the forecast is clear, they will make their own snow to ensure that the race will happen no matter what the weather brings!
