Brighton Charities

Our REALTORS® invite you to spread kindness to those in need throughout the Brighton area by participating in Giving Tuesday. On December 3rd, we encourage you to take a moment of your time to support one of the local charities that devote their compassion and effort to improving the community. Any donation, no matter how large or small, to the following five charitable organizations, will dramatically improve the livelihood of the amazing men, women, and children we share our community with.

  1. Reaching Higher — 508 East Grand River Ste. 300 B., Brighton, MI 48116
Reaching Higher aims to help the young people of Brighton live happier and healthier lives by reaching their full potential through leadership programs. Transitions from childhood through adolescence are often difficult for many young kids, especially if they lack emotional support at home. Reaching Higher uses an evidence-based curriculum to help these boys and girls develop life skills that will help them grow into the best versions of themselves.

  2. Bountiful Harvest — 290 East Grand River, Brighton, MI 48116
Tens of thousands of individuals throughout our region have reliable access to nutritious meals and essential personal care items thanks to Bountiful Harvest. Even the smallest of donations help provide hundreds of meals for the men, women, and children who are struggling with financial hardships that prevent them from putting food on their tables.

  3. Make-A-Wish, Michigan — 7600 Grand Rover Ave. Ste. 175, Brighton, MI 48114
The Make-A-Wish Foundation's Michigan organization grants hundreds of wishes each year to the children throughout Michigan who live with critical illnesses. Through generous donations, these wishes from our local children are transformed into amazing experiences that these kids and their families get to enjoy together. Each wish forever changes a life, touches hearts, and brings our community closer together.

  4. Brain Injury Association of Michigan — 7305 Grand River Ste 100, Brighton, MI 48114
The Brain Injury Association of Michigan strives to ensure that anyone impacted by traumatic brain injury can continue living full and meaningful lives. This organization not only advocates and spreads awareness through education, but they also devote their time and resources to the prevention, research, and support of those faced with these severe health impairments. All contributions support those who survived unfortunate brain injuries as well as work to reduce future incidents from occurring.

  5. Child Connect for Family Success — 861 E. Sibley St., Howell, MI 48843
Child Connect for Family Success provides resources for children and families throughout the region. Since 1994, they've sought to maximize the early childhood experience by connecting families to services that contribute to the healthy development of Howell's young children. Donations enable their programs and services to be offered at little or no cost to the community, which preserves and improves the wellbeing of countless children each year.

We humbly thank you in advance for any contribution you can make to these fine charities on Giving Tuesday. As always, feel free to contact us with any questions regarding Brighton homes for sale.
