The Brighton Main Street Wine Art Music Festival is a local event you won't want to miss. Our REALTORS® have had the chance to visit the festival in previous years, and we know firsthand it is a treat to attend. We're here with details about this year's festival as well as info about the best Brighton homes for sale.
This Brighton Main Street happening delivers what it promises: The very best local art combined with live music and fine wine. It kicks off with performances from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, August 2. Saturday will run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This is the 35th season for the festival, but this year things have changed a bit--starting with its name. The Greater Brighton Area Chamber of Commerce announced the event's new name, Brighton Main Street Wine Art Music Festival, and new format. The new name reflects the eclectic mix of performances on offer as well as the relaxed, yet sophisticated atmosphere.
The Wine Art Music Festival has attracted tens of thousands of visitors in previous years. Organizers estimate total attendance last year at 30,000. Businesses lined up to sponsor this year's festival.
It is food, folks, and fun right in the heart of Main Street when the best fest in Brighton returns once again. Artists and craft-makers from all over greater Brighton will be on hand to demonstrate their talents and provide interested shoppers with terrific souvenirs.
The Brighton Art Guild is just one of the many local associations that work together to make it all possible.
Representatives from many of the area's most famous restaurants will also be in attendance, with mouth-watering meals ready to go. From Italian to Thai to hearty diner fare, you'll want for nothing as you browse the wares or settle in for a night of memorable music.
Soothing acoustic hits from local, state, and regional performers, including cover bands, will play out live on four stages throughout Main Street. Come and go as you please, stay for as long as you want, get lost in the art or let the music carry you away.
No matter what you enjoy, old-fashioned Brighton hospitality will "brighten" your weekend.
