Guide to Area July 4 Celebrations in Brighton

July 4 is going to be a blast around Brighton! Our REALTORS® are excited to celebrate another year of fun with our friends and families. We encourage you to join us at one of these great parades, firework shows, and gatherings!

  1. Livingston County's Fowlerville 4th of July Fireworks & Parade – Downtown Fowlerville, MI 48836
    If you've got Independence Day plans in the morning but still want to celebrate at night, take a trip through Fowlerville homes for sale and attend the Fowlerville 4th of July Fireworks and Parade show. The parade will begin at 7 PM, venturing down Grand River Avenue. Immediately after, you can watch a dazzling firework show at either the Fowlerville Fairgrounds or Fowlerville Community Park. Don't worry, Fowlerville won't let anything rain on their patriotic parade! In the event of inclement weather, these festivities will occur on Friday, July 5th, at the same times!

  2. Whitmore Lake Fireworks – July 4 & July 6, Whitmore Lake, MI 48189
    Head toward Whitmore Lake homes for sale and enjoy two days of fun activities celebrating the 4th of July! On July 4, the town will begin celebrations with an Independence Day Parade down on Main Street at 10 AM. After the parade, a Banana Split Eating Contest will take place at 3 PM. Finally, a Boat Parade of Lights will end the night just before 10 PM around Whitmore Lake. The party continues on Saturday, July 6th, for the Fireworks Extravaganza! From 7 to 10 PM, enjoy music, games, prizes, food and other fun festivities around Northfield Township Park then watch the thrilling firework show blast off from the center of the lake! With two days of great family fun, Independence Day at Whitmore Lake is a blast.

  3. Milford 4th of July Parade – 159 N Main St., Milford, MI 48381
    Meet us in Milford for their annual 4th of July parade! Staring at 11 AM, the parade will run down Main Street from Commerce Street, ending at Central Park. Wave at the veterans, marching bands, fire trucks and color guard groups as they proudly make their way to Central Park for an afternoon celebration. Just steps from Milford Township homes for sale, this Independence Day parade is perfect for the whole family!

  4. Fenton's Freedom Festival – Downtown Fenton, MI 48430
    The Fenton Freedom Festival is an all-day event that turns the town into a patriotic party! Not far from Fenton homes for sale, this is one of the largest annual events in the Fenton community. Run the Firecracker 5K Race or watch their famous Freedom Festival parade. There will be great food like a pancake breakfast and chicken barbeque lunch as well as musical entertainment, pony rides for kids, outdoor movie screenings and tons of arts and crafts vendors. Be sure to catch their fireworks show at Silver Lake Park!

  5. 13th Annual Hungry Duck Run 5K Fun Run & Half Marathon – 204 W. E. Grand River Ave., Brighton, MI 48116
    Do something different this Independence Day and participate in the Hungry Duck Run. This annual event benefits local non-profits and is the perfect way to begin your Brighton 4th of July festivities. You can run in the Half Marathon or choose to run or walk the 5K. Kids 10 and under can also participate in the Duckling Dash for free!
